How this card works

Padre has no cost or power and works from your Legends area. His Spend sets one player's Gig to the same value as another player's Gig, in either direction. When you Call him, choose between spending a rival Unit, which turns it into a legal attack target, and drawing 1.

The Spend is a value-pair tool. If a Rival has a Gig matching a value you want, copy it onto one of your dice to create a pair. Pepe Najarro: Working Doubles then readies up to 2 MERC Legends when it attacks, and Sandayu Oda: Hanako's Guardian spends a rival Unit for each pair you control and can attack rival Units the turn it is played.

Per the FAQ, you may choose the spend-a-rival-Unit mode even with no good target; it just fails. The Spend still works when all Gigs share a value, but setting a Gig to the value it already has fails. He brings 2 Green RAM.
