Frequently Asked Questions

Short answers to what players ask most about Go Solo. Missing something? Ask through the feedback button in the game.

What is Go Solo?

Go Solo is a free, fan-made simulator for the Cyberpunk trading card game. It is built for your phone, runs in any modern browser and lets you play full games against an AI opponent with eight ready-made decks: the two official starter decks and six tournament lists.

Is Go Solo free?

Yes. There is no price, no subscription, no ads and nothing to buy inside the game. It is a hobby project made by one fan.

Do I need to install anything or create an account?

No. Open go-solo.online in the browser on your phone or computer and you can start a game right away. There is no sign-up and no app store download. If you want it to feel like an app, add it to your home screen.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. Go Solo runs in Safari on iPhone and in Chrome and other modern browsers on Android. It also runs in desktop browsers, though the layout is designed for a phone first. You need an internet connection, because the games and the AI run on our server.

Why is Go Solo built for phones first?

Go Solo is designed for a phone held upright: you drag cards with your thumb and hold a card to read it up close. Other Cyberpunk TCG simulators target desktop, so this one starts from the other end. The same game also runs in a desktop browser, where you play with a mouse.

Which decks can I play?

During the beta you can play eight ready-made decks: the two official starter decks, Embracing Power (Arasaka) and The Heist (Mercs), and six tournament lists. The AI plays one of the same eight, and you pick which. See them all on the decks page. You can also put your own deck together in the deck builder.

Can I play against a friend?

Yes. In the game, tap Play and, under With a friend, choose Create link: send the link to your friend, who joins the game from it (or choose I have a code to join theirs). To be matched with an opponent, choose Online and press Play. Games against the AI, with its three difficulty levels, are still there too.

Is Go Solo an official Cyberpunk TCG product?

No. Go Solo is an unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Weird Co. or CD PROJEKT RED. Cyberpunk TCG, card names, texts and images are the property of their respective owners.

What language is the game in?

The game is in English, with a Polish translation you can pick with the EN / PL switch on the home screen; the browser language decides the first visit. The card images are the printed English cards. This website, the card database and the guides are in English.

How do I report a bug or send feedback?

Use the feedback button inside the game. You can rate the game, write a comment or describe a bug. The report includes anonymous technical details and the log of the current game, which makes bugs much easier to fix. Every report is read.

How do I play in full screen?

Add the game to your home screen. On iPhone, open go-solo.online in Safari, tap Share and then Add to Home Screen. On Android, open the Chrome menu and choose Add to Home screen or Install app. Launch Go Solo from the new icon and it opens full screen, without the browser bars.

Where do the card texts and images come from?

The card images and the card texts on this website are those printed on the published English Cyberpunk TCG cards. Inside the game, the rules text follows the language you pick, English or Polish. All of it belongs to its owners. Each card page credits the card’s artist.
