Rita Wheeler: No Stupid Questions

Card text

Playable in Go Solo

Blocker (You may spend this Unit to redirect a rival Unit's attack to it instead.)
The first time this Unit is spent each turn, draw 1, then discard 1.

How this card works

Rita Wheeler: No Stupid Questions costs 4 Eddies for 4 power and Blocker. The first time she is spent each turn, you draw 1 and then discard 1. Attacking, blocking, or a rival effect can all spend her, so the card filter can trigger on either player's turn.

Equipment multiplies the payoff. NetWatch Netdriver draws a card whenever the equipped Unit is spent, and Alt Cunningham: Mother of Daemons draws another when a friendly equipped Unit is spent, so one block can draw three cards for one discard.

Watch the rules. The draw is mandatory, and the FAQ confirms that drawing from an empty deck loses you the game. Lag only stops attacking and Spend abilities, so Rita can use Blocker the turn she is played.
