How this card works

For 4 Eddies every player discards their hand and may draw 5. The draw is optional for each player separately. After that, count the discarded cards from both hands: if the total equals the value of one of your Gigs, you draw 2 more.

You can plan the bonus before you cast it, since hand sizes are open information. Muamar Reyes: El Capitán adjusts a Gig by exactly 1 when spent, which is often enough to line a die up with the total. Trauma Team Operatives like the side effect - every Unit you discard lands in your trash and knocks 1 Eddie off their price, down to 1 Eddie.

With both hands empty, both players can still draw 5 and the discarded total is 0. Watch your deck size, because drawing from an empty deck loses you the game. The card is a Red BRAINDANCE Program with RAM 2.
