At the end of your turn, if you have less ☆ (Street Cred) than a Rival, ready this Unit.
How this card works
When you trail on Street Cred, Modded Muramasa readies itself at the end of your turn. That means it can attack and still be standing ready on your rival's turn, where ready Units are not valid attack targets. In return you pay 5 Eddies for 4 power, which steals one Gig and loses most fights against larger Units.
Give it a reason to stand ready. Mandibular Upgrade costs 1 Eddie and grants Blocker, so the readied Muramasa can actually protect your Gigs. Towerfall rewards the same condition: with less Street Cred than a Rival, you get both of its effects.
The FAQ says the ready is mandatory, even if you wanted the Unit spent. Remember that Street Cred is the total value of your Gigs, not how many you hold, so you can lead on Gig count and still meet the condition.
