Zetatech Faceplate

How this card works

Zetatech Faceplate costs 2 Eddies, adds 2 power, and fires whenever the equipped Unit or Legend is spent: adjust a Gig by up to 1, then draw 1 if you control 3 or more Gigs with different values. In a deck that spends something every turn, that is a steady card.

Order matters. On an attack, the adjustment happens before the rival's React step, and if the wearer has its own Attack ability you choose which resolves first. When the spend pays for a Spend ability, the ability resolves first and the Faceplate second.

That makes Muamar Reyes: El Capitán a great wearer: his Spend adjusts a Gig by 1, then the Faceplate adjusts again, so one spend moves the dice twice. Afterparty at Lizzie's works the same way - for 1 Eddie it adjusts a Gig by up to 1 and draws if you control 2 or more Gigs with different values.
